Shoe In: Twinkle Toes

I don’t think it is any secret that I love glitter. To be able to have a wedding covered in glitter would be AMAZING and while I like to believe that I’m not alone, some brides may only opt for a little bit of glitter. Shoes covered in glitter are the ultimate option.

The Lollipop by Kate Spade is one of my all time favorites. It’s smooth line and pointed toe are comfy and traditional. I used to own a pair of Steve Maddens that were just like these, but not nearly as comfortable. Metallics are always a good accent color and this gold isn’t over the top, but it still has a touch of sparkle.

When I look at these Ted Baker peep toes, I immediately think of Cinderella. The shape of the shoe and the little bow at the top really make this shoe whimsical. The light blue hue make the glitter look like glass and when they catch the light, the glitter just sparkles and shines. I wouldn’t mind having a fairytale wedding in a pair of fairytale shoes.

A “Something Blue” option makes this classic peep toe sling back named Clue by Jimmy Choo the perfect wedding splurge. The royal blue is as fancy as the brand name, but it’s the chic use of glitter that really set this shoe apart. A shoe that can be worn over and over again and still feel as fancy as they day you got married in them.

Jimmy Choo is scoring major points with KYAB for offering multiple glittery options! The Vamp by Jimmy Choo has a name that says it all. The sexy, hot pink strappy sandle gives off the opposite of the Cinderella effect. If Nomi Malone from Showgirls were to ever get married, these would be the shoe she would wear.

I mean do you see all the glitter in the above photo?! Yeah totally glitterific bride right there. Too bad their relationship didn’t quite pan out…

The Oaker by Ted Baker really has it all: metallic gold, silver satin bow and platform and lots of glitter! Say you need an extra inch or two of height, but don’t want to sacrifice on style and are trying to stay clear of the Nomi Malone complex (see above). Traditionally, the color brides wore wasn’t white, but silver. These shoes are an ode to the “Something Old” and “Something New” all rolled into one.

What’s better than glitter? Rainbow glitter, that’s what! Vince Camuto is a popular shoe brand for fashion forward and wallet conscious girls and now they offer the best of everything with the Vasili by Vince Camuto. The chunky heel may feel a little less formal, but when you’re wearing tons of tulle, a chunky heel may be a more stable option. Then while out walking the streets of Cyprus for the honeymoon, you can pair these same glittery shoes with a pair of jeans

Of all the shoes above, this Flounce heel named Victoria offers a more subdued glitter look than the others, but is a versatile shoe. From the ball room the office floor, this taupe leather and glitter is a little hard rock and a little elegance rolled into one. Not gonna lie, I’m going to buy a pair of these even though I’m knot yet a bride!

Shoes, shoes, these magical shoes. With glitter on top! Do yourself a favor and get yourself a pair.
